WMU digital marketing students are eager to learn about companies like yours–from best practices to the future of your industry. We hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity to build a strong relationship with WMU, its students, and its professors.
Company + Community + Career
The Speaker Series invites companies with proven digital marketing expertise to sponsor a Tuesday evening event with members of the Digital Marketing @ WMU student group, to educate about the company, its digital marketing strengths, and professional opportunities that students can prepare for.
Flexible + Fun
We offer flexibility in how to structure the event. At minimum, a 1- hour event attended by 30+ digital marketing-oriented students should include 1-2 company representatives willing to highlight what the company is doing in digital areas, and career guidance for students interested in working for the company. Companies can modify these events to meet their circumstances and to be more experiential:
- Choose to host in-person at WMU or host virtually
- Choose employee representatives (digital marketing, leadership, WMU alumni employees, HR/campus relations, etc.)
- Choose whether to sponsor food, promotional products, etc.
- Choose whether to combine the event with on-site interviews for internships/entry-level opportunities (facilitated through the Zhang Career Center)
